Where to begin.
Its Thursday night, and I'm staring into my closet trying to figure out what "bare necessities" I should bring with me to Coachella. I know that inevitably, I will end up with too little or too much, and I opt for the latter.
Fast-forward. It's noon o clock on Friday. Ammo and I are throwing multiple garments (mostly black or tropical) into the trunk of our car. We are running behind and we know there is no way in hell we are going to beat traffic.
Anyways,we pack enough snacks to make any fat kid feel jealous, and off we go.

After 4 hours on the road, we finally arrive in Palm Springs. Now, Ammo and I had decided earlier in the week that it was best to do everything "on a whim", and not plan ahead. We planned on living out of the trunk of our car, using swimming pools as make-shift baths, and crashing at whatever late night house party we ended up at.

We picked up lil Sonie at her sister's house and headed over to our friend Dustin's crash pad. It reminded me of an 80's cocaine mansion.

After hanging out for a while, we headed over to the Ace Hotel for the Fool's Gold party. The music was eh, but I had a lot of fun hanging out with peoples. Saw old friends and new friends, played some ski ball, and drank a lot of water.

We ran into our friend Patrick from LA, and him and his friends let us crash at their AMAZING run-down hotel. Seriously, it looked like a scene from Buffalo 66. It was rad.

The next day we all went to the Anthem party together. It was held at this amazing mansion, and basically we had a blast.
After a couple of hours, Ammo and I decided to move on with our lives, and decided to check out some other parties. Of course it took us like an hour to get from point A to point B, and by the time we got to the next party both of us were beat. We had only slept like 3 hours the night before, so it was getting kind of scary (heat+sleep deprivation +bitches= not such good fun)

Luckily, my Lilofee bandmates had a house just a few blocks from where we were, and we went over there and chilled the fun out. After swimming in the heated pool for a while, Ammo and I took a LUXURIOUS bubble bath (I'm sure this is doing wonders to dispel those lesbian rumors about us). The water turned black. No joke.
Anyways, I took a three hour nap, and then Ammo forced me to wake up and make myself presentable.
We started our night at the Vice Party, where we saw a horrible band for 5 minutes before meeting up with our friends and leaving. (Standing in line was probably the highlight of that portion of the night).

We ended up going to this amazing mansion that overlooked a huge golf course, where we played music and just chilled for a couple of hours, before crashing out and going to sleep. (That is, after it took me 1.5 hours to find my way back to the hotel, because I was so damn tired).
Day number 3.
Epic.
We woke up and headed over to the Ace Hotel. My one true love Derrek was there with all his friends, and it was so good to finally meet up ( we had been missing each other all weekend).

(PS I like how obsessed I am with Derrek. Note all 300 photos I took of him).
We ended up meeting a new friend, Geoff, and instead of going to Coachella, we went to a casino, played the slots, went bowling, and then ended the night by going to a strip club. I'm pretty sure we've done everything and anything there is to do in Palm Springs.
Now, I am so exhausted I can barely write anymore, but yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say it was a success.
