Home Sweet Home

3.25.2010

After three weeks of recording in San Francisco, I finally made it back home to my beloved Elysian Valley Dollhouse Home.

San Francisco left me depleted. I really put my heart and soul into the second Lilofee record, and after non-stop studio action, I think I just wore myself out.

So, the first couple of days home were kind of shaky. I couldn't really snap out of this weird haze. Then, Monday night, Ammo, Vanessa and I were all on our way to a fashion show, when my car radiator blew up.

We ended up stranded in Hollywood. Triple A towed my car, and we made our way to the Yola Tango Frozen Yogurt shop, where we waited until Tommy (Vanessa's bf) could pick us up.

So, you'd think at this point I would be ready to just slit my wrists and get it over with, but actually we ended up having the best time hanging out, and began making plans for Positive Greater Than Negative (you'll hear more about this endeavor soon).

Tuesday, we started our garden! We planted herbs and veggies and flowers. I can't wait to see those little sprouts start shooting up.
Also, we're building a silk-screen/art workshop in our basement. Yay for projects.

Krescent came to visit later on Tuesday, and it was so good to have her stay with us. Love that lil lady.
Yesterday we hung out at the Standard, worked on the workshop and then last
we hosted an impromptu dinner party, and stayed up until 2am plotting, scheming, and dreaming. LA i love you.
